Published more than 15 research papers, a book, several book chapters on research topics including thermal performance of buildings, thermal performance of envelope materials, thermal comfort, effects of shading devices, bio-climatic analysis for sustainable building design, indoor environmental condition of traditional and modern houses, impact of infrastructutre development like mass rapid transit system, housing transformation, apparaisal of housing typology, mapping of morphological growth of the settlements, siting in hilly areas, etc. Further, proposals were developed for the wall and roof design for the residential buildings located in the composite climate. Also, a adaptive thermal comfort empirical model was developed to calculate the neutral temperature and indoor comfort temperature range for the naturally ventilated buildings located in the composite climate.
