ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The main purpose of this conference is to emphasize issues and challenges involved in the scholarly communication, publication, open access and intellectual property rights (IPR) to support institutional education, research and innovation capabilities.

Theme of the conference is very much relevance in the present context of national needs in terms of communicating science, writing academic and research proposals, intellectual creations, evolution of scholarly content, finding and publication of research results and generate economy. Movement of open access creates wonderful opportunities and challenges for the academic and scientific community including scholars, researchers, publishers and the funding agencies to do and expose their research into reality in cost-effective manner. One hand open data, open publishing and open innovation are need of today and other hand intellectual protection rights (IPR), open access rights & policies, license agreement, technological applications, business models etc are practical drivers that impact and help in establishing the facts in the creation and development of institutional research outputs, increased visibility and institutional prestige.
