Dr. Adinarayanane (Associate Professor, Planning) acquired Ph.D., degree in Urban
Studies and Planning from School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University, Chennai. He holds
Ph.D., in simulation and modeling of Energy Efficient Sustainable Development of Metropolitan city
for quantitative urban analysis through System Dynamics. He completed post-graduation in Urban and
Rural Planning from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR), Uttarakhand State. He received
his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu State.
He has experience of 30 years in the academic, research and professional field of Planning and
Architecture. He has published a book under Scholars Press, Lambert Academic Publisher, Germany,
European Union. He has authored over 30 peer-reviewed journal research papers (ISBN/ISSN) and
international conference presentations (please refer attached CV )
He worked as Professor at Faculty of Architecture & Planning, Arba Minch Institute of Technology,
Arba Minch University, Ethiopia. He was employed as Junior Town Planner, PPA under the Town and
Country Planning Organization, Government of Puducherry, the job responsibilities include scrutiny
of building permit applications and issue of planning permission, layout plan, development
control, enforcement and legal issues related to planning and development activities. He was the
Nodal officer for the preparation of Comprehensive Development Plan for Puducherry Region, at
Union Territory of Puducherry, India.
