INYAN
The Annual Cultural & Technical Fest of SPA Vijayawada
Where Architecture
Meets Artistry
INYAN is the annual cultural and technical festival of the
School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada (SPAV) — a Central
Government Institution under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Born from the creative spirit of its students, INYAN celebrates the intersection
of design thinking, cultural expression, and technical innovation. Each edition
brings a unique theme that challenges participants to think beyond convention —
in architecture, urban planning, and the arts.

2026
— The 65th Square: Beyond the Know
Inyan 2026 explored the idea of moving beyond the 64 squares of a chessboard — a metaphor for breaking design conventions, questioning established boundaries, and discovering new creative territories. The festival featured workshops, competitions, cultural performances, and exhibitions curated by students of architecture and planning.
